Very soon in the mail you will receive our spring issue of Tabor Today. The magazine celebrates our school by the sea heritage, including the 100th Anniversary of Tabor Boy. I hope you will enjoy it.
As a bit of a teaser of what is to come in the mail, I wanted to share this video created by John Rice '70. It is the first of a series we will release over time of Tabor Portraits, a view into the experiences of people at Tabor. In this one of Holly Francis '14, XO of Tabor Boy, I hope you will recognize all the possibility in our tagline: School by the Sea. There are many avenues at schools for leadership, exploration, challenge and inspiration from the fields to the classroom to residential life, but at Tabor we are so fortunate to have another hue on our artist's palette as we craft the Tabor Experience: the beguiling draw of the sea. It is simply our unique advantage, our "special sauce," and one we plan to expand on to maximize the benefit to our students.
Enjoy meeting Holly. She is an impressive young woman, about to graduate and launch out into the world with all she has learned here as her foundation. You have helped to create that foundation with your support of Tabor, and it has a direct impact. Your support helps people like Holly recognize and explore their full potential. Aren't we lucky, you and I, to be involved in such impactful work!
