Enjoy this second video of a two part series, created by John Rice '70, about the research portion of our 2014 Caribbean Studies Program. The students are a critical part of the research being conducted by the National Parks Service on the stressed coral reef populations around St. John.
You will hear about the scope of their work and the types of data they are collecting and how, and you will hear the students reflect on the relevance of their work. It is great to see their engagement and enthusiasm for this partnership. I know the National Parks Service is very grateful for our students efforts. They are able to collect so much more data in these six weeks with our army of students than their small staff could ever handle. So it is a real win-win!
