Happy New Year!
After a great break and a nice holiday season, our students are back and hard at work. The teams played some great matches on Saturday and many young alumni came back to enjoy the games. Indeed, everyone is back in the swing of things at Tabor.
I always feel a little sorry for the students at this time of year. Just after that cheerful cry, "Happy New Year!" they are ushered right into the maelstrom of exam preparation. Review time starts next week and exams on the 18th. Thankfully, it is a quick sprint through the madness with the carrot of another short break when it is done. Please send up a little cheer for our students these next couple of weeks! It is a stressful time for them.
There is light at the end of the tunnel! Once exams end, the winter term warms up nicely. The pace eases a bit and the kids enjoy the comraderie of the Fish Center, where all the games happen, some fun weekend activities keep them occupied, and there is the Winter Musical to look forward to. (More on that in my next post!)
I hope you will continue to join us, if not physically, by enjoying these posting and remembering your own Tabor days when you can.
Happy New Year to you. And thank you for your interest in Tabor!
